Alan

Alan’s career saw him start in his home county of Hertfordshire, working there and London, the loyal clients following him even to the South West for the service that they wanted until this day, one customer has been with him for 45 years.
Alan loves his running and cycling, pursuits that have led to a tremendous amount of fund-raising through the support of the shops clients. Alan’s fundraising over 30 years led to him being awarded an MBE in 2002, an honour he attributes to the incredible support of work colleagues, friends and clientele.

Pauline is a partner in the business and runs the desk, appointments, charitable enquiries, welcoming and care of the clients, in fact just about everything else supporting the professionals, her input is vital to the shop’s running leaving the cutting team to concentrate on their work.

“Without doubt one of the best aspects of my job is our clients, who over time have become more like friends, quite a few helping me from my first day of training and staying with me to the present day.”

Sally

“I started my three year Apprenticeship in 1986 in my hometown of Taunton, Modern and Traditional Men’s Hairdressing ran in the family as I worked with my Uncle in his business there.”
“I moved to Honiton to work with Alan in 1994 and have never looked back, it is a pleasure to come to work with both my colleagues and customers and have really enjoyed the fun of raising money for local charities over the years.”
